Mission

The mission of MCI Management SA is to deliver to its Investors high and stable rates of return through building value of the companies and supporting the best teams in achieving their business objectives, taking advantage of the capital of the MCI brand, the competence of its professional team and the leading global practices.

MCI

MCI (since 1999) is one of the most dynamic private equity groups in the CEE Region, managing a diversified portfolio of alternative assets. Currently MCI manages 7 funds: MCI.EuroVentures (expansion, buy-out), MCI.TechVentures (growth, expansion), MCI.BioVentures (growth, expansion), Helix Ventures Partners (seed, start-up), Internet Ventures (early stage, growth), MCI.ImmoVentures (real estate, infrastructure) and MCI Gandalf Aktywnej Alokacji SFIO (absolute return).

The value of MCI's AUM reaches above 765 M PLN. The MCI Group has so far closed 45 investment projects, 21 full exits and 7 partial exit transactions. MCI's focus is atprivate equity investments in the CEE Region.

In the period between 01.01.1999 and 30.09.11 MCI Management SA generated net IRR at the level of 19,4%
(average net IRR of the whole MCI Management SA portfolio in the period 01.01.1999 – 30.09.11 - the sum of full and partial exits and book valuation of the portfolio as on 30.09.11).

MCI Management SA is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since February 2001. MCI is a member of the Polish Private Equity Association and the Polish Association of Stock Exchange Issuers.

History

2010: IPO of ABC Data on WSE; agreement with NCF (KFK) → Internet Ventures FIZ; MCI.ImmoVentures

2009: first fund with investment from NCF (KFK) and PAED (PARP); Bankier.pl – full exit via trade sale; listing of convertible bonds on Catalyst; S4E – full exit

2008: first buy-out transaction: ABC Data

2007: creation of MCI Capital TFI SA; IPOs of MCI's portfolio companies on WSE

2005: first full exit from a portfolio investment: Process4E; first IPO of the MCI portfolio company: Travelplanet.pl

2004: pioneering issue of 5-year convertible bonds (first time issued by an investment fund)

2002: portfolio restructuring

2001: IPO on WSE

2000: company renames to MCI Management SA
